FikaTrade keeps a lightweight Inbox of things that have finished — it’s not a full activity log of everything happening on your account.

Where to find it

  • The bell icon in the sidebar shows an unread count and opens a quick list in a popover.
  • Select Inbox in the sidebar for the full page, with All, Updates and Invitations tabs, search, and a detail pane.

What actually creates a notification

Only a specific, fixed set of things:
  • A PayTo agreement reaching an outcome (active, paused, resumed, cancelled, or failed).
  • Payout bank account setup completing or failing.
  • A CSV import finishing, failing, needing review, or being discarded.
  • Product image uploads finishing or failing.
  • An Xero (or other integration) sync session finishing.
  • A payment collection succeeding or failing.
Order status changes (Placed, Accepted, Denied, Cancelled) don’t appear in the Inbox at all. Check the Orders page directly rather than expecting a notification.
Team and customer invitations also show up in the same bell and list, under their own tab — they’re a different kind of record behind the scenes, but they’re folded into the same feed so you don’t miss them. If a payment collection fails, it notifies whoever triggered it and your other workspace administrators — not just the person who selected Collect Payment.

Opening a notification

Some notifications take you straight to what they’re about — an invoice, an import run, a payment method, or your Payouts settings. Others don’t link anywhere, by design:
A finished Xero (or other integration) sync notification just confirms the sync ran — it doesn’t link to what it found. To review the actual differences a sync surfaced, go to the Sync screen for that integration, not the Inbox — see Connect FikaTrade to Xero.

Managing your Inbox

You can mark a single notification as read, or use Mark all as read. There’s no way to delete a notification — FikaTrade keeps them for a retention period rather than letting you remove them individually.

No email

Everything here is in-app only. FikaTrade doesn’t currently send any of this by email.
