A payout is how the money from your customers’ payments actually reaches your bank account.

What a payout represents

A payout is a batch transfer to your settlement bank account, made up of one or more of your Collected payments. FikaTrade groups the full amount of every eligible payment into the payout — nothing is deducted from it, and a payout can’t be zero or negative.

Eligible funds

A payment becomes eligible for a payout once it’s Collected. Payments that are still Collecting, have Failed, or have been reversed aren’t included.

Timing

FikaTrade processes payouts for your business as a batch. The product doesn’t currently offer a way to change payout frequency or request an immediate payout yourself — payout timing is managed by FikaTrade.

Where you see payout information

FikaTrade doesn’t currently have a dedicated payout list or statement view for suppliers. What you can see is:
  • Your settlement bank account, at Settings → Payouts — see Set up payment collection.
  • Per-payment payout status, on the Transactions page, using the Payout pending / Payout succeeded / Payout failed / Payout reversed indicators — see Payment statuses.

If a payout fails

A payout can fail — for example, if your bank account details are no longer valid. FikaTrade doesn’t currently surface a detailed failure reason to suppliers for this; if you notice a payment stuck showing “Payout failed,” check that your settlement bank account details at Settings → Payouts are current, and contact FikaTrade support if they are.
