There’s no self-service way to retry a payment from your account — retrying is something only your supplier can do.

You won’t necessarily be notified

FikaTrade doesn’t send you an email or in-app notification when a payment attempt fails — notifications for payment events currently only go to whoever on the supplier’s team triggered the collection. If you want to check on a payment, look at your order’s status yourself rather than waiting for an alert.

What you can check

Go to your order and check its status:
  • If it shows Payment failed, a payment that had succeeded has since been reversed.
  • If it’s still showing Placed or Accepted and you expected it to be Paid by now, the payment may have failed without changing the order’s status at all — see Payment statuses for why.

What you can do yourself

You can check and update your default payment method at Settings → Payment methods (see Payment methods) — for example, if a PayTo agreement has expired or been declined, or a card is no longer valid. Updating this doesn’t automatically retrigger a failed payment; it only affects future collection attempts your supplier makes.

What you can’t do yourself

You can’t retry a payment, and FikaTrade doesn’t offer a “pay now” action anywhere in your account. Payment collection is entirely handled from your supplier’s side.

When to contact your supplier

Contact your supplier if:
  • An order looks like it should have been paid but isn’t showing as Paid.
  • An order shows Payment failed.
  • You’ve corrected your payment method and want your supplier to try collecting payment again.
