# Introduction to FikaTrade

> What FikaTrade does for suppliers and what your team will use it for.

FikaTrade is an order management, invoicing and payments platform for wholesale suppliers. It's built around your business — you keep your own customer relationships, your own pricing, and your own brand, while FikaTrade runs the operational side of trading with your customers.

## Suppliers and customers

In FikaTrade, you are the **supplier** — the business selling products. The businesses that buy from you (cafes, restaurants, retailers and other venues) are your **customers**. Each customer you add is linked to your supplier company with its own commercial terms and pricing.

## What your team will use FikaTrade for

Once set up, your team can use FikaTrade to:

* Manage your customer list and their commercial terms
* Manage your product catalogue and pricing, including customer-specific pricing
* Receive and review orders from customers
* Create and track invoices
* Collect payment from customers and track your payouts
* Manage which team members have access, and what they can do

## How supplier teams use the platform

Everyone on your team who needs access to FikaTrade is added as a **team member** of your supplier company. A **supplier administrator** can configure company settings and manage who has access; other team members can use the day-to-day workspace features. ## Before you can process live orders

Before your business can start taking real orders through FikaTrade, you'll need to complete a short setup process: creating your account, configuring your company details, inviting any team members you need, and preparing the customer, product and pricing information FikaTrade will use.
