# Storefront announcements

> Set a message your customers see on your storefront — for everyone, or for one customer specifically.

You can show a short message, with an optional image, to customers on your storefront — either to everyone, or to one specific customer.

## Before you begin

Setting either kind of announcement requires a **supplier administrator**.

## Set a message for every customer

1. Go to **Settings → Branding**.
2. Scroll to the **Announcement** section, enter your message, and optionally add an image (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB).
3. Select **Save changes**.

## Set a message for one customer

1. Go to that customer's detail page and open the **Announcements** tab.
2. Enter a message and optional image, the same way as above.
3. Select **Save changes**.

A customer with their own message set sees **only that message** — it replaces your general announcement for them, rather than showing both. Clearing a customer's message (leaving it blank, with no image) reveals your general announcement again, if you have one.

## There's no scheduling

An announcement is simply on (it has text or an image) or off (it doesn't) — there's no start/end date or expiry.

## Where customers see it

As a banner across the top of your storefront's home page, with your image (or a generic icon if you didn't add one) and your text. A customer can dismiss it, but only for that visit — it comes back if they reload the page or return later.
